Chronic Fatigue

A Root-Cause, Personalized Approach to Lasting Fatigue

Persistent, unexplained fatigue is one of the most common reasons people end up in our office after standard workups have come back “normal.” Fatigue like this rarely has a single cause — it usually reflects several interconnected systems under strain at once: adrenal signaling, thyroid conversion, mitochondrial energy production, gut health, and the nervous system’s ability to rest and recover.

Rather than chasing one lab value, our approach looks across this whole terrain, so nothing contributing to how you feel is left unexamined.

What We Do

  • This program is educational and supportive in nature. We do not diagnose or treat disease.
  • What we do is bring together advanced functional testing and 40 years of clinical experience to build you a personalized, natural and nutritional support plan — the kind of comprehensive picture that might otherwise take multiple specialists, many appointments, and years to piece together.
  • Please continue to work with your physician or specialist for the diagnosis and treatment of any medical condition. Our role is to work alongside that care, not in place of it.

Personalized to You

Never a Template

  • No two programs are alike. Yours is built entirely from your own testing — your hormonal rhythms, your genetics, your microbiome, and your history.
  • The areas below describe what we address; how they’re sequenced, timed, and dosed for you is determined only after your personal results are in hand.

The Core Areas We Address

  1. HPA Axis (Adrenal) Support: Supporting healthy cortisol rhythm and the body’s stress-response signaling, frequently disrupted in chronic fatigue.
  2. Mitochondrial Energy Support: Supporting the cellular energy production that is impaired in chronic fatigue, regardless of the underlying trigger.
  3. Thyroid & Metabolic Support: Supporting healthy thyroid hormone conversion and metabolic rate — looking well beyond a standard TSH.
  4. Immune & Post-Viral Support: Supporting healthy immune function and recovery in fatigue that follows a viral illness or other infection.
  5. Gut-Brain & Microbiome Support: Addressing the gut-immune-brain connection that sits at the center of fatigue, mood, and inflammatory symptoms.
  6. Neuroinflammation & Oxidative Stress Support: Helping calm the neuroinflammatory and oxidative processes associated with brain fog and persistent fatigue.
  7. Autonomic Nervous System & Sleep Support: Supporting healthy autonomic balance and restorative sleep — foundational to recovery.
  8. Nutrient Repletion: Addressing common mineral, B-vitamin, and amino acid depletions seen in chronic fatigue.

Building Your Personalized Program

The testing below is what allows us to tailor which of the areas above need the most attention for you specifically, and in what order, before you ever arrive.

Required Testing Prior to Arrival

A comprehensive cortisol/hormone rhythm assessment (such as the DUTCH test) — required

Highly Suggested Testing

  • A full thyroid panel, including thyroid antibodies and conversion markers
  • Functional genomic analysis
  • Comprehensive microbiome analysis
