Dr. Santa Ana, DC, has been an ardent student and practitioner of functional, integrative, and personalized nutrition for over thirty years. She studies extensively under some of the biggest names in the integrative health field. For Incoming New Patients who need more comprehensive functional medicine advice and services, your initial visit will be approximately 45 minutes to 3 hours. You will undergo the following:

  

• I provide an intake questionnaire called the Maestro Systems Survey.  This is a renowned and highly useful survey in the field of wellness and functional medicine, which has been utilized in the natural medicine field for decades.  It is now online and protected by privacy.  It consists of approximately 200 multiple-choice questions that address functional stress in various bodily systems.  I find this invaluable in my practice.   It also provides you with a very informative report of the findings. 

• A comprehensive consultation and review of the required information that you must provide (see below).

• An AO Scan, which provides a 29-page report (we will email it but not go over it in its entirety).

• A Zyto electrodermal scan provides an educational report.

• A Heart Rate Variability (HRV) test, which we will review in detail.

 

After all of this, an initial plan is established to begin your journey.

 

Altogether, the Maestro Survey would cost $125 or more on its own.  Therefore, you can see that Dr. Santa Ana is providing significant value for patients who desire more comprehensive wellness services.  

 
Before your visit, Dr. Santa Ana needs the following:

• A medical history is needed as well as a

• Signed informed consent form

• If available, a copy of your most current labs

• Provide a list of supplements and meds you are taking

• Please provide a narrative on how you would like Dr. Santa Ana to assist you.

•  If you need a lab, we can arrange for it to be ordered for you.

This initial review, which includes some suggestions from me, is from $99.00 to $325.00. 

 

How Follow-ups are handled

 

You are also welcome to email me with simple follow-up questions during the month, provided they do not pertain to something new or involve a complicated question that would require more of my time to reply. 

If you need more comprehensive advice during the month, then I schedule phone appointments on Mondays, and you can call to schedule and prepay in 15-minute increments ($39.00).  

 

Labs are available as needed.

 

Also, just to let you know I can provide practically every advanced functional lab available and can provide you with advice as to which lab test may be best for you.

The Advanced Lipid, Hormone, and Cardio panels that I offer are the most economical and comprehensive available exceeding what Quest and LabCorp have to offer.    This is true for an abundance of tests, many of which are not typically run in the real world.
